"Before we purchased our stone built house, we were aware of the multitude of damp issues and had already found out little bits of information surrounding the use of lime plaster but didn't really know where to start. We were glad to find Rob's website and to see that he was fairly local to us. On the first meeting we could tell that Rob is a very down to earth and friendly character, with lots of invaluable information from his time in the trade. This was all completely new to us bit Rob helped advise us on how we could take off the old and patched up plaster ourselves to cut down on the labour required in the job, and whenever I had questions surrounding other areas he was always really helpful in the advice he provided. In some instances where I thought things were going to be a major problem, he was very reassuring in the solutions he would suggest that he could implement when carrying out the replastering, including fixing up the holes in walls where stones had come loose, windowsills that had come off, damaged beading and architraves. When Rob started with the plastering, we could see immediately how passionate he is about his trade, through his punctuality on the job, his methodical approach to working and the high standards of quality that he works to. He takes great care in every aspect of what he does, right down to the supplies he uses to carry out his work, finding out the best sand and lime types and sources for the job based on the work he is doing and the budget that you are working to.

We are so pleased with the rooms that we have had done so far and will definitely be getting Rob back in the future for some other rooms that we will be looking to have replastered".
